I led the redesign of Bankinter’s core transfer experience across web and mobile platforms, supporting both individual and corporate users. My work focused on mapping all transfer scenarios, simplifying complex flows, and aligning diverse stakeholder needs into a unified, scalable solution.
From defining the core concepts and running usability tests, to collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the design system, I ensured the experience was consistent, adaptable, and ready to evolve. Enhancing VerseCard Rewards for user engagement and retention

To boost engagement and retention for VerseCard, I led the design of a cashback rewards program that turned occasional users into repeat customers. Despite 1.5M card activations, usage was low due to limited app interaction and lack of ongoing incentive.
Through iterative design—starting with a simple MVP and evolving into a personalized, habit-forming experience—I addressed discoverability, motivation, and repeat engagement. Working closely with the development team, I delivered a scalable solution that aligned user behavior with business goals. The result: a 34.5% engagement rate at launch and a 20% increase in retention among rewards users.

Redesigning Bankinter’s mobile experience from the ground up

As the lead designer for Bankinter’s mobile app redesign, I drove a strategic transformation aimed at making everyday banking faster, clearer, and more human. Facing a brand and tech transition, we used behavioral data, NPS, app reviews, and user testing to prioritize features with the highest impact. This led to a complete rethinking of the app’s structure, communication tone, and key interactions like transfers. I also led the creation of a mobile-first Design System Language (DSL) to ensure scalability across the company’s digital ecosystem.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, I designed systems that streamlined handoffs and improved collaboration between design, development, and DSL branches—accelerating delivery while maintaining quality. This project became a blueprint for future mobile initiatives and a key driver of Bankinter’s digital evolution.
